When photographing your identity documents for KYC (Know Your Customer) verification on WEMX, follow these tips to ensure a successful submission:
- Use Good Lighting: Make sure the room is well-lit. Natural light is ideal, but avoid harsh shadows or glares on the document.
- Keep the Document Flat: Lay your ID on a flat surface to ensure all details are visible. Avoid bending or holding the document in your hand.
- Use a High-Quality Camera: Use a smartphone or camera with a high resolution to capture clear, sharp images of your documents.
- Focus on the Document: Ensure that the entire document is in focus. Blurry photos may be rejected.
- Capture the Entire Document: Make sure the entire ID is visible in the frame—don’t crop out any corners or edges.
- Avoid Reflections and Glare: Tilt the document slightly or adjust the lighting to avoid glare, especially when photographing documents with glossy surfaces.
- Check for Legibility: Ensure all text, numbers, and images on the document are clear and easy to read in the photo.
- Ensure Your Details Match: Make sure that the information on your document matches the details you provided during the account registration process.
- Take Multiple Photos: Take several photos to ensure you have a clear and accurate image before submitting.
- Follow Platform Guidelines: Adhere to any specific requirements set by WEMX for the types of documents they accept and the format of the photos.
